About us

Cooper & Co Solicitors was founded in 1997 and so although new to Canterbury, we aren’t new to the profession. 

Despite being based in Kent, we act and advise throughout England and Wales. If you have a specific issue you must not regard this website as constituting advice in and of itself, so please contact us for bespoke help.

Please come in and see us at our office or give us a ring on 01227 20 33 20 if that would be more convenient.  Normal office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (apart from Bank Holidays).  Outside of those hours, please leave a message and your call will be returned when we are next open.

Trevor Cooper

Solicitor Trevor Cooper is the Principal of Cooper & Co and he has been qualified as a Solicitor since 1987. Trevor has a wealth of experience in a wide range of civil and criminal litigation cases.

Jack Sullivan

Jack gained a first class degree in law from the University of Kent in 2022 and qualified as a Solicitor in March 2025. Jack covers a range of disciplines including civil litigation and wills/probate.

Li Goh-Piper

Li was called to the Bar as a Barrister of Gray’s Inn in 1994, and in 2001 she applied under the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme to become a Solicitor.

Li has over 20 years experience in General Civil Litigation and with specialist knowledge in both residential and commercial Landlord & Tenant disputes.
Li is fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Bruce Turner

Bruce has been qualified as a Solicitor since 1992 and he works with us at Cooper as a Solicitor Consultant mainly acting in personal injury cases and some contract disputes.

Aidan Moore

Aidan joined us in May 2024 as an Administrative Assistant and since October 2025 has taken on Paralegal responsibilities.

Having studied at Canterbury Christ Church University for a Diploma of Higher Education in Law, he is looking to continue his legal education.

Charlotte Evans

Having worked in administration roles previously, Charlotte joined us in November 2025 as a part-time Administrative Assistant

Hedley Wethered

Hedley (or Fred as we call him) has been with Cooper & Co since the beginning in 1997 and as the firm’s bookkeeper he makes sure that our ledgers balance.

Lewis Moon

Lewis, who has a first class degree in maths from the University of Sussex, has been with us since 2023 as our in-house Costs Clerk.
